I Write Poem by Jonathan Goldman a.k.a JGthepoet

I write about YOUR Creations,
I write what YOU tell me to write,
I write when YOU send me the words,
As YOU do Erev Shabbat tonight.

I describe what I see through my windows,
About the trees, sky and silence of dusk,
Of the sun lighting the evening sky,
Of YOUR Creations, I marvel and trust.

My Faith in YOU is enduring,
As words through my Mind do go,
To be written by me onto paper,
And to the World all to show.

To see the hues on the trees around me,
Each leaf different shades of green,
Delights me in YOUR Creations,
Seen by me awake ~ or in my dreams.

Thank YOU LORD for more Poetry,
I wish to write continually for all the World,
To marvel at the views I see,
And to thank YOU LORD aloud.
