I Wrote A Letter To Past. Poem by Satya Pratik

I Wrote A Letter To Past.

I wrote a letter to past.
To,
Dear Stupid Me,
It didn't include numbers of lottery,
Or the name of horses to bet.
Definitely not about this pandemic.
I wrote about you.
I warned,
Steer clear of you,
Or just approach you sooner.
You definitely will bite,
But worth it!
That it's not worth it,
To write so many poems on you,
Just like this one.
That it would be breeze if you didn't exist,
Atleast in my mind.
That falling in love with rain,
Just because we stood in rain,
Stupid.
That those walks,
Not the hint.
Those mean comments,
You drooling over me.
That I need to learn lyrics,
Of my own favourite song,
And sing to you,
While you cry your eyes out.
Or that I should stop listening,
Kishore Kumar totally.
That hating on someone or something,
Because you disliked it,
Hilarious.
But it was nice having you around,
That it doesn't matter,
If you stay or leave.
But then again,
If that was true,
Why would I be writting letter,
To,
Dear Past Me.
To think about it,
Should have included the question paper.
And maybe,
Asked myself to ask you to stay.
