For You Poem by Satya Pratik

For You

If you ask me to dive into abyss,
I would do it for you.
If you ask me for pearls,
I would do it for you.
If you ask me to leave,
Oh, no!
I won't do it for you.

If you ask me for mangoes,
I would bring them for you.
If you ask me for a smile,
I would surely bring that on your face.
If you ask me for little time alone,
Oh, no!
I won't do it for you.

If you ask for my hand,
I would hold your hand for you.
If you ask me to be yours,
I would be for you.
If you ask me for pain.
Oh, no!
I won't bring that to you.

If you ask me for love,
I would do it for you.

But can you do things for me?
Not much I ask.
Not for mangoes or pearl.
I ask for your love.
Would you it for me?
I ask for your hand in hand.
Would you do it for me?
I ask for little talks.
Would you do it for me.

For I will do anything,
That makes you mine.
I would do it for you.
For us.
