Ice Tea Poem by John McCornack

Ice Tea

The best ice tea that I have ever had was served in goblets
It was made by my Grandma Pearl and served on hot days
Her tea was crystal clear as it was made by her loving hands
Served with blocks of ice from her own hand filled ice trays

So from those days on no meal is complete without ice tea
I always expect unsweetened tea when dining in Oklahoma
While I would never turn down the chance to drink it sweet
But for hot tea I like it sweet because of the special aroma
