Idols Poem by Kishore Asthana

Idols

I am an idolater, yes
But have you seen my idols?
Anchored images of tranquillity
On the sea of existence
The loving kiss, of deified bliss

Like spiritual lenses, they focus my senses
Onto the divine
On your God and mine
Come and see a world apart
In the temple of my heart
Where all is as it should be
Between my idols and me.
