Idris, That Boy! Poem by Sumita Jetley

Idris, That Boy!

Beneath a sky of twilight hues, Idris walks, his path he chooses,
With head held high, his heart knows clear, greatness calls him near.
A Sufi's walk, through life's vast maze, guided by the divine's soft gaze,
The path less traveled, his feet embrace, with every step, grace interlaces.

'Life unfolds in mystic ways, ' he whispers to the wind's soft plays,
His father's wisdom, a guiding light, grants him strength for the flight.
To see the world through eyes anew, where every dawn brings a view,
Of wonders veiled from hurried eyes, beneath the ever-changing skies.

With every breath, inspiration's song, moves him gently, swift and strong,
Towards a future, unwritten yet bright, where his dreams take flight.
At day's end, his resolve he shares, in his parents' loving cares,
'I seek to witness life's grand unfold, ' with courage bold, his story told.

His path, a testament to faith's might, through shadowed woods and starlit night,
Idris moves, a beacon bright, in Sufism's deep, embracing light.
A journey not of miles, but soul, where every part completes the whole,
His heart a compass, true and tried, with the divine as his guide.

In verses woven from life's thread, Idris's tale is softly spread,
A poem of a journey rare, led by faith, beyond compare.
So let us walk with him awhile, along the paths that trials beguile,
And find, in Idris's storied flight, the courage to seek our own light.
