If Poem by Dale Barnes

If

Rating: 5.0

If I was Alive I’d Love You and Stop Faking I’m Dead

If I was Afraid I’d Find something Fake Like Jesus

If I was Given a Choice I would choose the Other

If I was God I’d Write “I Love You” in the Clouds

If I was a Book my Pages would Recite to You

If I was a Tool I’d Carve Your Image in Stone

If I was a Toy I’d just Play and Play and Play

If I was True to Myself I’d Honestly be Lying

If I was your Heart I’d find prices for Armor

If I was Time I wouldn’t worry about Sins

If I was a Dream You’d Never Fall Again

If I was in your Arms I’d call that Heaven

If I was Dying I’d Sing A Song for You

If I was a Painting I would Cry for Us

If I was Alone I’d Remember Then

If I was in Need I’d only want You

If I was Only What I Wanted

If I was with You Where

If I was with you Now

If I was with You

If I was

If I

If

I.
