If

Rating: 4.0

If my soul was taken,
possessed by demon foe,
would you gather your inner bravery
to be my golden hero?

If I was trapped in darkness,
encompassed by endless fright,
would you choose the right path,
to help me find the light?

If I was lost in death,
my life sent to fate,
would you forget our painful past,
and set aside your hate?

If my entire being was yours
and my heart faithfully true,
would it be enough to convince thee
that you could love me too?
