Wings Poem by Amber Jones

Wings

I wish I knew where to go,
When all I have left to live for
Slowly dissipates.

Far beyond the outstretch
Of my fingertips
You fly; mocking me.

If only I could clip that freedom
From your back, then you'd be
Mine forever.
