If - Poem by Andrea Szyhowski

If tears didn't hurt so much,
I would never stop crying.
If the pain would go on forever,
I know it was true love.
If we never speak again,
I know it's trully over.
If the words ever get to you,
I know you still care.
If the sky is gone for good,
I know the pain is here the stay.
If a scar is here,
I know who put it there.
If I never know love again,
I know I can live.
But still,
If tears didn't hurt so much,
I would never stop crying.
