If God is a man, then who is He?
A being of strength and masculinity?
A figure with a chiseled jaw and broad shoulders?
One who commands authority and instills fear?
Is He the one that we see in paintings?
With a long beard and a stern expression?
Or is He the one that is portrayed in movies?
Walking among us, performing miracles and blessings?
If God is a man, then why do we pray?
Do we plead to Him for guidance and protection?
Or do we seek His approval and forgiveness?
Is He the one that judges and decides our fate?
Is He a man of compassion and empathy?
One who understands and shares our pain?
Or is He a distant ruler, detached from humanity?
Only intervening when He sees fit?
If God is a man, then how can He be everywhere?
In every corner of the world, in every heart and soul?
Does He have the power to hear all our cries?
And guide us on our journey, towards our ultimate goal?
If God is a man, then why do we question?
His existence, His purpose, His ways?
Or is it simply because we cannot comprehend?
The complexity and depth of His ways?
If God is a man, then who is He to us?
A divine being, a protector, a friend?
Or is He simply a reflection of our own beliefs?
A reflection of who we are, until the very end.
