If God were a dog,
Would it even matter?
Would She love us all,
The fat and fatter?
She'd be more real,
Of this I feel.
Renewed with zeal,
Again I'd kneel.
To pray for peace,
To come to earth;
To make wars cease,
For what its worth.
If God were a dog,
I'd like it better.
She'd lick our face,
And we could pet Her.
