If I Poem by Hamytaf Hushes

If I

Rating: 4.5

If I start to speak
It's like trying to punch brick
If I start to smile
It's like trying to run for miles

If I start to joke
It's like letting myself choke
If I start to entertain
It's like allowing myself to feel the pain

If I start to hug
It's like sniffing a rug
If I start to shut down
Then you'll know who's supposed to be on the ground
