I hear when you cry but no one is there to take your hand
I'll take your hand because I care
I carry you in my spirit, mind, soul, and heart
Each waking moment I pray for you to become stronger
And find strength and courage even when it hurts

Everyone goes through sorrow but
If I could take away your tears I would in a heartbeat
I feel your pain when you shed tears
Oh, my heart aches

I see as you stand on a rocky mountain
Looking afar for someone to be by your side
Only if you knew I was right below
All you would have to do is look down

Because if I could take away your tears I would

Drip, drip there goes another tear splashing against the water
Just know all the tears you shed will make you stronger
