If I Had Been So Perfect Poem by venkatesh bang

If I Had Been So Perfect

If I had been so perfect in my life

Then I would have not been a man of the rife.

If I had been a bit more urbane

Then I would have felt that you are insane.

In my days, if I had been Scot’ free

Then in my life I would have not got so much of glee.

At times if I had not been so ridiculous

I would have not known how hard it is to be sedulous.

In my game, I had done so many fouls,

So now I know the meaning of all the scowls.

In the starting if I had taken the right flock,

Then I would have never known to laugh, but to mock.

Towards my teachers if I had not been scorn,

Then for me, they would have not got the chance to mourn.

No one has ever been able to seduce

Or the nature of my character has anyone been able to deduce.

If in life I had not been a vagary

Then in life I would have never got up to my eternal glory.

Towards me many have shown sedition

That’s why I know life in total perfection.

My life, my chances, and my career I have never been able to protect

Because in life I am not Mr. Perfect.
