If I Had Wings Poem by Phil Soar

If I Had Wings

In a room where god stores angels wings
Amongst his many other things
I wonder if there are some for me
So that I might wear them steadfastly

For when I'm gone and arrive back there
I'll have flown on wings from who knows where
And if I can flap my wings and fly
I'd really like the chance to try
