If I Were You Poem by Eric Micha'el Leventhal

If I Were You

If I were you,
then I'd do as you do.
And if you were me,
then you'd see as I see.

But if I were you,
would I still be me?
For then I would be 'we'
and would see as we see...

So to make I a you
and to do as you do,
then I must make a we
out of me, she and he.
