if i died today
would you remember me?

if i left tomorrow
would you miss me?

if i said goodbye
what would you reply?

if i whispered 'i love you'
would you answer 'me too'?

if i told 'i need you'
would you tell me you do too?

if i told you i hated you
would you love me anyway?

if you died today
i'd never let memories of you wash away

if you left tomorrow
i'd be filled with sorrow

if you said goodbye
i'd ask you 'why? '

if you whispered 'i love you'
i'd answer 'my feelings for you are more than that'

if you told me 'i need you'
i'd say not more than i do

if you told me you hated me
