I.F [ If Feelings ] Poem by Joshua Amaefule

I.F [ If Feelings ]

If not for invasion of the rain
Fields don't need to grain
If not feelings from a swain
Will the hart also be in chain

If not waters snaking to drain
Drought can't rule again
If affection is ascertain
Whisper will shelf its complain

If not for the crying fountain
Slowly and slowly goes the gain
If enamoring should lead to deign
Evolving disdain and constrain

If the sun hugs the snow in elan
Snowman will only bleed in pain
And if all the changes remain
Only constant waves will pertain
