Love is a unite of compassion that can only last through mutual respect, understanding, tolerance, discipline, alot of sacrifices, selflessness... It is giving wholeheartedly without expecting anything in return. It needs much nurturing to grow from strength to strength. I like the articulation of the poem as it captured well the cat and mouse relationship. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.

Although sad, sometimes there comes a point when a relationship is past the point of being salvaged. Better to let go with love than carry on until you despise one another. Nice poem on endings.
