If Love Was A Meal Poem by Damian olatunde Ogedengbe

If Love Was A Meal

Will you bend a Knee,
To feed off your plea? ,
Or rather starve hard,
Till you can eat like a king,

Will you eat like a dog,
And feed on leftovers,
Or rather eat like a lion,
With every meal a Passover,

Will you cry like a baby,
Till you get fed out of pity,
Or till the soil very hard,
So you can eat with dignity.
