If Only Poem by Aaron Gotham

If Only

If Only
If only, if only, someone could help me with this problem. My big brother has flies around his head, I wonder why he won't swat them. He can't seem to stand, he can't seem to eat, he's drooling like fountain, all the way to his feet. His mind is gone, but his body is still near, oh if only if only my big brother could hear. I yell and yell, but he still stays staring, the wall is so blank but to him it is daring. When I shake him he wobbles, and dances like a freak! Oh! … if only if only my big brother wasn't dead since last week.
