If Only Poem by Jain Bartlett

If Only

Rating: 3.3

A flower lay on her chest underneath her cold and clammy hands her dress lay flat, limp and lifeless against her body still drenched from the heavy rains form the night before a tear rolled down my cheek for if only I could of been there if only it was me that tripped and fell into heavens light to wander the heavens alone if only I was there she would be spared and free to take on the joy of life and then maybe I would not be so alone.
