If This Is What You Will Poem by Pete Rivera

If This Is What You Will

Rating: 4.0

Sitting alone, I see
The error of my ways
And I see no shame
In crying my days away
For the tears in my eyes
Form a river and drift away
To the light of a tunnel
Where in silence, we cannot say

And where was I when you disappeared?
And, love, you know, that I need you here
I cannot bear the pain of my thoughts
For in my own net, I was caught

I saw you there
By my windowcill
And I chased you for hours
To every valley and hill
Yelling 'Please, please! '
'If this is what you will,
'Then I am to blame
'For it is our love I have killed'

And where was I when you disappeared?
And, love, you know, that I need you here
I cannot bear the pain of my thoughts
For in my own net, I was caught

And where was I when you disappeared?
And, love, you know, that I need you here
I cannot bear the pain of my thoughts
For in my own net, I was caught

And now I see, I see
My eyes are open to the truth
And now I see, I see
My eyes are open to the truth
And now I see, I see
My eyes are open to the truth
