If We Don'T Meet Upon The Morrow Poem by Kute Makerz

If We Don'T Meet Upon The Morrow

Rating: 5.0

If we don't meet upon the morrow,
Do not shed a tear for my missing soul
Do not sing a dirge, I wouldn't need the sorrow
Have a taste of my faith that I played my role.

If we don't meet upon the morrow,
May the womb I came from be blessed
But for her rules I never followed
I had to save the flowers in my tree from getting stressed.

If we don't meet upon the morrow,
My sole wish is that you wear a genuine smile,
As you look into the bitter-sweet life I borrowed
As good as Lucifer, remember me not for a little while
At least put a cross on my grave, if I don't witness tomorrow.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Upon realising how real death is as my girlfriend died a year ago, I had to be well aware that my life could palpably fall too just like the leaf in autumn. Therefore I had to make the world know how I've been trying to make my family a better and comfortable one; as well as take good care of my lovely sisters just so they don't go astray. I dedicate this to my lovely mum, Mrs Georgina Sarfo.
