If you decided today that
You want to rip your heart out
And let it bleed over my hands
Scratch your eyes out and not feel the pain
You want to die and live only to die again
But the pain is what matters to you
It’s what makes it right
If you decided today that
You want to open your veins
And let all your emotions go
Seeing your blood everywhere makes it right
I’m on the other side of the glass wall
You not letting me in to help
Pounding on the wall tears down my face
I’m trying to care trying to help
I’m trying to escape from myself
Blood is everywhere, spilt on the ground
You think maybe not today maybe tomorrow
But today I’ll let a little of the pain out
In the place of blood
With the cut of the blade
But should you?
When they are humans who know
Humans who are the same as you
Having all their feelings and emotions
But they are on the edge
And not only with a blade
If you decided today that
You would end what you started before
Behind that closed door
You would choose to die
I don’t want to sit and cry
And wonder if it was my fault
Or you just thought life sucked
Would you leave others in more pain then you would be in?
From someone who cares
