If you knew your divine self,
You would be a mystic,
Scattering gnosis like sunlight,
Touching those who linger
In the dark dungeons of illusion.
You would transform their lives,
Awakening the dormant spark,
The divine intelligence forgotten,
Returning them to that ancient state—
The purity and innocence they once knew,
When they existed as ideas
In the mind of the Divine.
By His command, they were scattered,
Shining forth in the universe,
Each a reflection of His image,
Manifesting what was once unmanifest,
So He might behold His own beauty
In the forms He Himself designed.
