'If You'Re Near' Poem by Lloyd Reyes

'If You'Re Near'

If you're near it would be moments of happiness.
I would climb a tree and pick a fruit for you,
Walk in a sandy beach picking shells for you.
Watching the clouds roam by while beside you
Looking at the stars at night while evening breeze,
blows in our faces.
And will tell you, I'm glad you're here.

If you're near would be moments of adventure.
Will climb some heights and shout at the top of it,
Will see some water falls and dive to its deep.
Will travel to some lands watching people and places
and nature in its beauty.
walking in the roads to where freedom can be ours.
Then i'll tell you, its worth walking the road with you.

If you're near would be moments unforgotten.
Will speak of words learned in self, culture and life.
Will share with laughter, having fun together
Looking at each other, praying for one another.
Having coffee together while beholding the sunrise.
Then, i will tell you, I thank God for you.
