'Reason To Live' Poem by Lloyd Reyes

Far it may be the distance that separate us,
Some unknown that we cannot understand,
some things we know and comprehend,
In all complexities and undertakings we face,
our hearts are one ablaze.

Our lives depends not upon fancy,
nor our cries and laughs be called screams,
Our mind not to dwell in unattainable dreams,
But one thing for sure we can rest
In the truth that God knows best.

This life of ours are called to praise,
endowed with life because of grace.
We rely upon the joy and heartbeat
of the very calling we have,
to live and die,
To the One that give us breath.
