If You Think Me Like No One Has Thought Poem by welkin siskin

If You Think Me Like No One Has Thought

For your love I have held dear
Will you not rise and shine
For me like the luminous constellation
Overlaid in the vast blue?
If you feel me everything,
… My heaven is dark,
And clouds wander around my sky
Like the profused cluster
Of unhidden carbon particles
Been pendent in the arch
Of the vault.
Will you not spread over
Your billows of fragrance in the skies of mine?
If you feel me rose,
Will you not drizzle
From your aspen lips the elixir of rain?
If you think me
Like no one has thought,
Will you also think like no one has thought-
Beyond the vastness we inhabit,
And love till the moribund?
Let our love travel
Across areas of the unseen,
Being kept from wilting and death.
