If You Were Gone - Poem by Lorena Walker
noone to greet me
as i walk in the door
noone to cheer me up
when my heart is torn
no face more beautiful could I ever see
no smile so cute
I just would not be me
I would miss everything about the way you are
and pray that someday
I'd soon be with you among the stars.
-dedicated to my wonderful sister.
