If Your Smile Catches Upon My Face Poem by Akachukwu Lekwauwa

If Your Smile Catches Upon My Face

Rating: 5.0

If your smile catches upon my face
As the sun upon the rivers
Be assured it will glitter;
If I see your lips again
And they beckon on me a kiss,
Be assured I will take more than a bite;
O earth,
If by chance I be lost
In her embrace,
Please, do not find me out.
