If Your Soul Could Speak, What Would It Say? Poem by Melissa Wagner

If Your Soul Could Speak, What Would It Say?

If my soul could speak,
what would it speak of?

Would it speak of my past,
and of overflowing memories?

Would it speak of my emotions,
all the good and bad?

Would it speak of my relationships,
and how I've treated everyone I've met?

Would it try me for all my mistakes,
and be a witness for all my future mistakes?

Would it ignore the bad,
and love the good?

What would it speak of?
What would it speak of?

It is said that poetry IS soul speak. So as for you I see what your soul yearns for, through your works. You asked me the same question and my soul is one that has been around for a long time, way before I entered this mystery. It would say everything in my works AND that God is in control. So there is NOTHING God has not had a hand in. My soul explains it this way: No one curses the sun for creating shadows, and shadows are essential to the light. That there are two sides to everything, no matter how thin you slice it. For more read Paul Levy, he's online. regards, BG
