IF
MATLOOB BOKHARI
If you don't think
If you don't rebel
If you are not conscience driven
If you are submissive to your human masters
If your mind is slave of religious and political rulers
If you have not seen Mercy's light behind the clouds
If you have not seen the light of the moon
If you have not seen the intellectual light of the sun
If you have not seen the rainbow of hope in the innocent tears of orphans
If you have not seen the white rose of fair freedom
If you don't bleed like Christ
If you are not perforated with arrows like Hussain
If you have not listened the lesson of death in the soil of Karbala
Then, you are not the children of truth
You are pleaser not a servant of God
You are a living death in clothes
You are dead wandering in coffin
You are a trembling dove
You are not living in a house
You are buried in a silent tomb.
