What you don't know won't hurt you, says an old proverb.
But I think it should be taken with a huge grain of salt.
Why? Just ask the passengers of the Titanic.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
The British passenger liner Titanic sank in the Atlantic Ocean on April 15,1912, after colliding with an iceberg. More than 1500 people died in the disaster. About 720 passengers survived. Many believed that the ship was unsinkable.
