Illuminati (Part 1) Poem by Nick Jordan.

Illuminati (Part 1)

More than half the world sleeps with its eyes wide open
Whilst the rest get rich off the back of the broken
We live in times of uncertainty
A land bent on violence and war inadvertently
It shames me to think that we can be so greedy
When we forget the worlds poor the malnourished and needy
We take note of the news when the media runs amok
Drawn in by manipulation through propaganda and shock
Through brainwash, denial we seek to believe
In a world that is sleeping and ultimately naive
We all go about our daily routines
Being blind and unconscious
Like robotic machines
Open your eyes, wake up from your slumber,
For the sake of our future,
stand up, be counted,
And be more than a number.
