Illusion - Poem by James Grengs
I walked past a friend today.
I ignored her as effectively as if she weren't there.
Might I have imagined it,
Hoping inside for a glimpse of a familiar face?
-Could it be? -
She was there, and I was not,
But only, rather, dreaming?
