Illusions, Superstitions Poem by Mohammad Younus

Illusions, Superstitions

Illusions, superstitions—
Fabrications, manipulations.
They circle back, again and again,
No prevention, no end in sight.
Repetitive, unrelenting,
Hard to break free
From this spiraling snare.

Yet hold fast to hope.
Lift your heart,
Shatter the wheel—
The hand of God extends,
You are not helpless.

Let the fire of your fitrah burn bright.
Illusions prey upon your heart,
But shadows fade before the light.

Your obsession with dark spirits
Will vanish, dissolve.
Awaken—
Your true self stirs beneath.

The divine guardian never forgets.
He calls,
Reminding you of the promise—
To walk in truth.

Confusion, illusion—
They are not your faith.
Return again,
And again,
To the goodness within,
To the divine nature you are.
