Illusive Dreams Of The Past Poem by Kenny Lamb

Illusive Dreams Of The Past

Crevasse carved paths,
From Childs' grueling laughs,
In the Carpathian pass,
A spring of ocean water in the distance,
From water formed caves in the crust,
To the iron wrought rust,
Corrosion of different metals,
Falsify new alloys,
Of a creation that was not meant to be,
Be what we need,
Of a citation that oneself we not needn't be,
When fable becomes myth,
Myth becomes reality,
As dreams become another Lilith,
In what may seem to be a never ending pond of plagues,
That gives way to new waves so we may surf through our lives once more,
To live another day once more,
