The Person In The Mist Poem by Kenny Lamb

The Person In The Mist

I am alone,
I am awake,
The wind is ever so cold,
It sends shivers down my bones,
I see a foggy haze in the distance,

There is a figure in the darkness,
A person standing in the mist,
The wind slows to a calm the last leaf of autumn has fallen,
The rivers run bone dry,
Day turns to dusk as dusk turns to night,
The horizon begins to fade,

The person that was once there is now gone,
The day comes to an end,
Just to start the same process another day once more,
