I'm In The Dark Poem by Michael Budwah

I'm In The Dark

They say I'm simple minded, And not on track,
They say I can't do it, I say take it back,
Do you have the will to fulfill, and not sit still.
I'm in the dark with negativity, lost all trace of positivity.

They say I should be in the light, but I'm in the dark, where I belong and came from,
Something like the bottom, pondering to the top. Keep going, no please make it stop.
My heart can't take it, my mind won't make it.

Lost in my ways, seems like I'm loosing faith.
Trying not to drop the crown, not let you down.
Feels like the same road as home,
Don't want to be alone, seems like another sad poem.
Sometimes that's just the way it goes.
