I'm Just A Girl Poem by Cinthya Aj

I'm Just A Girl

I'm just a girl,
Longing for love's embrace,
You once held me close,
But then,
You brought tears to my eyes, lulling me to sleep,
Days stretched into months of sorrow,
Yet amidst the pain,
I'm left questioning,
Why do I still hold onto you?
Why do I cling to the emotions of our first encounter?
You spun tales of adoration,
But in the end, you vanished,
Leaving me feeling like nothing,
Like I was insignificant,
Why?
You made my heart numb
I'm just a girl,
Seeking solace in affection,
Yet you shattered me,
I placed my trust in you,
Only to learn,
It was my biggest mistake
