Image Poem by April Humason

Image

In the depths of desire, your image takes its toll,
A seduction so tempting, captivating my soul.
Yet, this allure comes with a price I can't deny,
For the distance between us won't let us fly.

Your venom courses through my veins like fire,
Drawing me closer to the edge of my desire.
In this dance of passion, I long to be led,
To surrender myself to the fantasies in my head.

Speak the words that ignite the flames within,
With domination, your power, let the fire begin.
Take me from this arid land, thirsty and dry,
Guide me into your dreamland, where our spirits will fly.

In your arms, I find solace, a safe place to roam,
As we lose ourselves in a world of our own.
There, submissiveness knows no bounds or fees,
For you see me as yours, and I am put at ease.

In this realm of seduction, we're bound by fate,
Two souls entwined in a passionate state.
And though reality may keep us apart,
In this image of desire, you hold my heart.
