I wish my heart could take it
and i was strong enough to break
and your hits could never sway me
and my feelings never changed

i wish that i could tell you
of the pain that you inflict
and that every lie you told me
really was the end

i wish my feet would move
and i'd just stop falling down
and the world that breaks in front of me
was my one way ticket out

i wish a lot of things
and i know that there's a lot
but the world that i expected
isn't what i thought.
