Imagination Poem by moon batchelder

Imagination

Rating: 4.5

imagination
brings us places
otherwise ignored.
when business
of the day gives way
-redeeming our reward,

what bliss it is! -
our bodies resting,
softly closing eyes,
imagining
an eden, - maybe,
-realms of otherwise-.

to then somehow
inhabit them
if only moments long;
til prodigal
that we have been
returns. - the better off!
