Imagine


Imagine the darkness of the night, diminishing
The sounds of birds awaking
The sky is changing every second
From the blackness of night, to the orange, purples and reds
As the sun crests above the earth
Imagine looking out the window
Seeing the beauty of nature
Sharing it with someone so dear

Sandy beach, clear blue water
Warmth of the sun in the sky
Waves of the ocean hitting shore
Imagine being in paradise
Walking in the sand in bare feet
Splashing the water along the shore
Running along the beach hand in hand

Table and two lawn chairs sitting under an umbrella
A single rose in a vase, two glasses and a bottle nearby
Just time and the sunset awaiting
Imagine walking up and seeing them sparkle in the sun
A shadow appears reaching for your hand
Their scent fills the air and a romance blossoms

A small house in the middle of the block
A swing on the porch and a beautiful view
Children playing in the street
Imagine us swinging on the porch
Reminiscing of our journey together
Watching the children play is where we started
Imagine living it all over everyday
Just You and I, My love
