Immortal Persian Gulf Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Immortal Persian Gulf

Immortal Persian Gulf

I call you Persian Gulf
“Persian Gulf; Persian Gulf”
Choir of galaxies; ensemble of stars.

Like Rose and Nightingale
Between us there is bound
Singing is prayer, from dawn to midnight
You are mom’s pure milk; a needed lullaby.
“I am child”

Bright Eyes, are searching
Kisses in millions
Symphonies in thousands
Green-White-My blood
Defend the Persian Gulf

Join heavens, and skies
Angels sing “Persia Gulf”.
Song on lips; gun in hand.
Defend the Guater,
Ararat to Sarakhs; connecting Khorramshahr…

I forgave, I forgot; loss of my singing rights.

You are my true cause
For singing; and Sama
To high arts; and living.
To the peace; and fighting.

I forgive and forgave,
Smile is for your sake.
Even in toughest time.

You remain; making wave.
Keep intact; wash aground
The devil enemies.

You stay in one piece with Sea of Caspian.
Hear the sweet song; tortoise, fish and dolphins:
“Persian Gulf; Immortal...”
