Immutable Certainty Poem by John Sensele

Immutable Certainty

Rating: 5.0

Facts are memorable and immutable,
Confounding doubts and putting lies to the sword
To silence every imponderable
In a consensus accord.

Confounding doubts and putting lies to the sword,
Facts twinkle like celestial stars
In a consensus accord
Whereby mediocrity hides in used cars and bars.

Facts twinkle like celestial stars,
Putting lies to bed
Whereby mediocrity hides in used cars and bars
At the cost of a loaf of bread.

Putting lies to bed
To silence every imponderable
At the cost of a loaf of bread,
Facts are memorable and immutable.
