Impatiently Waiting Poem by AlissaMarie Unknown

Impatiently Waiting

Ripples through the water, mist dampening
their bodies up high in the cliffs they sit to est
their weary bodies. Holding onto each other tight,
surrounded by mother nature trees thick disguising them
from the ones passing by below.

Hand clasp around the curves of the body dipping
below a chunk of rock, water rushing from above
they've found the perfect spot.

Months they've waited to touch one another. Intense
adrenaline running at any given moment
they could be caught.

Water a bit chilly with the warm spring air and a slight
wind sweeping by them, their bodies mend together.
Slippery as it may be, sliding down a moss covered
valley of rocks into a little cove still holding each
other tight.

Ripples turned to small waves, as the trees swayed,
limbs cracked crashing around their once covered bodies.

Whispers through the trees all else fading away they
go deeper not caring for the darkness settling in.

Waves die down returning to once calm ripples,
shivering more with pleasure than feeling o cold
they now lay in rest with one another.

The little cove, deep in the cliffs high above, a treasure
created one lasting for years to come all surrounded
by mother nature and hidden to
those from down below they finally came together
after months of wanting each other.
