Imposed Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Imposed

Imposed

Radio has ‘Blues'
With TV am amused
With my past and news
Watch, listen to Mahmood
Same Ahmad who shook me
As one of seeking youths
"We were born into it! "
He talks of politics
And how right! ! !
Simply the
Truth! ! !

I was born by War's End
Nobody could think, guess
The things that came my way
We had to leave village
Somehow were displaced
In city nearby
Then ended in Tehran
With that came the changes
Change and change
Joined Air Force
And went to USA.

Judy came and took me
To their house for exchange
Many things, among them
Give and take of cultures!

Her father, a dogma
A Trump, simpler
But had a Texan gun
And threat!

I returned to Iran
Politics had become
Part of life and blood
The public was deprived
Just few enjoyed life…
Let's stop…
Same hell is the limelight! ! !
